The Bagioni Group’s products, from meat to Alfalfa, have been submitted to various controls to guarantee its high quality and security. In particular, the beef ( Marchigiana, Chianina, Romagnola breeds) have received the prestigious IGP certification.
Disciplinary production follows the required schedule: the full-blooded male and female cattle has to be reared and butchered in the typical production area between the age of 12 and 24 months old.
The feeding until the weaning period has to be based on breast milk, afterwards it is composed of fresh grass, hay, cuttings and cereal ( corn, barley, oats, etc.)
Strict controls and a capillary activity of technical farmers’ assistance ensure the respect of production discipline and allow for the tracing of meat from each head of cattle from birth to distribution.
I.G.P meat, and hence the meat produced by the Bagioni Group, presents excellent nutritional and organoleptic qualities: low fat content (2-3%) and high protein content of high organic value (22-23%).
Also the production of Alfalfa and of agricultural products follow the rules of organic cultivation, obtaining as a result the CCPB certification.
