Alfalfa is cut during its gathering at a length that varies from 5 to 10 cm. It is then dehydrated and packaged in square bales that are 110 cm wide, 80 cm high with a variable length from 120 to 240 cm. The weight varies between 400 and 900 kg depending on the size and cutting.
